In June 2025, CelluCircle was awarded major funding from Vinnova under the call Impact: Ökad resurseffektivitet och resiliens, etapp 2, for our project titled:
“Sustainable Domestic Industrial Production with New Raw Materials and Inputs from Chemically Recycled Textile Waste” (Swedish: Hållbar inhemsk industriproduktion med nya rå- och insatsvaror från kemiskt återvunnet textilavfall)
We are proud to be the coordinators of this ambitious and collaborative project, bringing together a powerful consortium of industry leaders: IKEA of Sweden AB, Telge Återvinning AB, Stadium AB, Lindex AB, RISE Processum AB, and RISE AB.
This support allows CelluCircle to lead the scale-up of our chemical recycling process, treat real-world textile waste streams, and validate our materials in close alignment with partner requirements. We’re excited for the journey ahead and grateful for the opportunity to drive Sweden’s circular transformation forward.
