We’re thrilled to announce that CelluCircle, as part of the GearUp consortium, has been awarded substantial funding through the EU Horizon Europe program! This four-year, well-financed project is set to accelerate our mission to redefine what’s possible with recycled materials.
Project Highlights: The project will focus on industrial 3D printing and advanced machine learning (ML) and modeling to ensure recycled materials—such as discarded textiles—achieve the same performance standards as their non-recycled counterparts. CelluCircle will collaborate closely with leading consortium partners to produce high-performance 3D-printed parts from discarded textiles, contributing to critical applications in a range of industries.
Our Role: Leveraging our proprietary prechemical process, we’ll enhance and scale our nanocomposite solutions for discarded textiles. Additionally, we’ll further develop thermomechanical filament and compounding methods, with advanced ML enabling efficient scalability of the process.
This funding marks an incredible step toward boosting our commercialization pace and scaling internal resources to meet growing demand for sustainable, high-performance materials.
Stay tuned as we work to reshape the future of recycled materials—powered by innovation, collaboration, and sustainability!
