PARA-LOOP develops industrial applications for cellulose and polyester recovered from mixed textile waste using CelluCircle’s recycling technology.
Coordinated by CelluCircle, the project brings together RISE, RISE Processum, ROCCO Oil and Instore Agency to refine material properties, optimise downstream processing and validate performance through pilot production and industrial trials. Target applications include recovered cellulose for industrial oil treatment and recycled polyester compounds for injection moulding.
The project also addresses quality assurance, chemical and regulatory requirements, and viable business models, helping bridge the gap between textile recycling and commercial material supply.
